The saltwater loop knot is a very strong knot used to connect a fly to the leader. This allows the fly to move freely; adding enticing action to any fly.

                                         Start with leader end.
                                   Make a simple granny knot.
                                        Adjust the size of loop.
                        Run the tag through the eye of the hook.                     Pinch and hold the eye of the hook and loop.
                         Wrap the tag end around leader 3 times.        Stick the tag end through both loops, moisten and pull tight.
                                                     Voila!
